Summary
This study is testing a new 12-week sports program designed to help rural girls ages 8-10 get more physical activity. The program, called Girls PLAY, is being offered through local Boys & Girls Clubs in Imperial County, California. Researchers want to see if the program is practical to run and if it helps girls become more active, feel more confident in sports, and enjoy being active.
