Summary
This study tested whether adding an experimental medication called SPN-820 to existing antidepressant therapy could help adults with major depression. Forty participants took SPN-820 every three days for 10 days while continuing their regular medication. Researchers measured changes in depression symptoms and monitored for side effects.
