Teaching spleen patients to protect themselves
NCT ID NCT07354893
Summary
This study tests whether a hospital-based education program helps patients who have had their spleen removed understand their infection risks and vaccination needs. Researchers will provide structured education sessions and informational materials to 100 adult patients, then measure changes in their knowledge through questionnaires. The goal is to see if better education leads to improved vaccination rates and patient satisfaction with their care.
