First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a short teaching session can help people without a spleen understand their higher risk of serious infections and the importance of vaccines. About 100 adults who had their spleen removed at one hospital will take a quiz before and after the lesson. The goal is to see if their knowledge and attitudes improve, and if they are happy with the vaccine care they receive.
