Doctors seek better ways to save spleens after accidents
NCT ID NCT06334263
Summary
This study aims to understand how doctors decide between major surgery and a less invasive procedure to stop bleeding from spleen injuries caused by trauma. Researchers will analyze existing medical records from 8,000 patients to see which treatments work best for different injury types. The goal is to create better guidelines to help save more spleens and improve recovery.
