First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests whether two types of spiral strapping systems can help children with unilateral spastic cerebral palsy improve arm and hand function. Twenty-seven children aged 4 to 15 will be split into three groups: one gets standard rehab plus TheraTogs® strapping, another gets rehab plus TogRite™ strapping, and the third gets rehab only. All children will attend rehab sessions twice a week for eight weeks, and their hand skills and grip strength will be measured before and after. The goal is to find a simple, practical way to support daily independence.
