Scientists hunt for hidden clues to make spine surgery safer
NCT ID NCT06736106
Summary
This study aims to find out which factors in a person's bone health, muscle strength, and nutrition might predict who is more likely to have complications after spine surgery. Researchers will collect detailed health information from 200 adults scheduled for spine surgery for wear-and-tear conditions. The goal is to create better pre-surgery checklists to help doctors and patients make safer decisions.
