New drug combo aims to slash pain and opioid use after complex spine operations
NCT ID NCT07365800
Summary
This study is testing whether giving three medications together during surgery can better control pain and reduce the need for opioid painkillers afterward in patients having complex, multi-level spine surgery. Researchers will compare the combination to standard care in about 250 adults. The goal is to see if this approach leads to less pain and fewer opioid-related side effects during recovery.
