Summary

This study aims to find the best way to give a drug called tranexamic acid (TXA) to control bleeding during major spine surgery. Researchers are comparing a single dose to multiple doses, and pills to intravenous (IV) delivery, in 604 patients. The goal is to see which method most effectively reduces blood loss and the need for blood transfusions after the operation.
