First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests a combination of two treatments—heat-based tumor destruction (thermal ablation) and precise high-dose radiation (stereotactic radiosurgery)—for people whose cancer has spread to the spine and is pressing on the spinal cord. The goal is to control the tumor and prevent paralysis. About 60 adults with various solid tumors are participating. The approach aims to shrink the tumor while sparing healthy tissue.
