NCT ID NCT01409954

ENROLLING_BY_INVITATION Knowledge-focused Sponsor: University of Utah Source: ClinicalTrials.gov ↗

Summary

This research aims to improve bone healing after spine fusion surgery by studying patients' own tissue. Researchers will analyze a small piece of bone graft taken during a patient's scheduled back surgery to identify which cells are most efficient at forming new bone. The goal is to develop better techniques to help bones heal together successfully, potentially reducing the need for repeat surgeries.
