NCT ID NCT06801587

Summary

This study tested if adding a steroid medicine to a standard numbing shot at the surgical site could better control pain after major spine surgery. It involved 118 adults having specific back operations. The main goal was to see if this combination reduced patients' need for strong opioid painkillers and lowered their pain scores in the first two days after surgery.
