Spinal implant offers new hope for walking after paralysis

Summary
This study is testing whether a surgically implanted spinal cord stimulator, combined with intensive physical therapy, can help people with certain spinal cord injuries walk better. Researchers will implant the device in 12 participants and measure their walking ability, independence, and safety over a full year. The goal is to see if this approach can restore meaningful walking function for people who have lost it.
