Smart spinal device offers new hope for chronic pelvic pain
NCT ID NCT06377969
Summary
This study is testing a newer, 'closed-loop' spinal cord stimulator for people with long-term pelvic pain that hasn't improved with standard treatments. The device automatically adjusts its stimulation based on real-time feedback from the spinal cord. Researchers will measure changes in pain, disability, and quality of life in 10 participants to see if this approach is safe and effective.
