Zapping the spine for back pain relief
NCT ID NCT05811143
Summary
This small, completed study tested whether a spinal cord stimulator could reduce pain in people with chronic back and leg pain caused by a buildup of fat in the spinal canal. Three participants who were already scheduled to get the implant were followed for 6 weeks to see if their pain scores improved. The main goal was to measure changes in their combined back and leg pain.
