Spinal zaps & cancer drug: new hope for kids with cerebral palsy?

NCT ID NCT07433023

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of non-invasive spinal stimulation and a drug called 5-Azacitidine can improve walking and movement in children with cerebral palsy. 80 children, aged 4 to 17, will participate in a 16-week training program with weekly stimulation sessions. Some participants will also be randomly chosen to receive a single dose of the drug or a placebo to see if it boosts the effects of the stimulation.
