New back pain injection tested against standard treatment
NCT ID NCT07445477
Summary
This study compared two different types of injections for people with chronic lower back and leg pain caused by spinal narrowing. Thirty adults who did not get better with standard treatments received either a newer ultrasound-guided injection or a standard X-ray-guided steroid injection. Researchers measured their pain levels, walking ability, and daily function over two months to see which treatment worked better.
