Can a wiggling spinal cord signal less pain?

NCT ID NCT07233798

Summary

This study aims to understand if a natural, wavelike movement of the spinal cord lining, seen with ultrasound, is linked to how much pain and disability people experience from a narrowed spinal canal. Researchers will enroll 100 adults with lower back and leg pain caused by this narrowing, called lumbar spinal stenosis. They will check for this movement and see how it relates to MRI scan results and patients' reports of their pain and daily function.
