Summary

This study aims to understand what causes spinal deformities and degeneration by analyzing tissue samples from 300 children and adults undergoing spinal surgery. Researchers will examine the molecular makeup of discarded surgical tissue to identify biological markers of disease. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help develop future drug treatments for spinal disorders.
