First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether a spinal cord stimulator, combined with physical therapy, can help improve arm and hand movement in people who have had a stroke. Twenty adults with lasting arm weakness will first do therapy alone, then get a spinal implant and repeat therapy with stimulation. The goal is to see if the stimulation is safe and can boost recovery.
