Race against time: does starting walking therapy sooner after spinal injury lead to better recovery?

NCT ID NCT06176833

Summary

This study aims to find the best time to start a special walking therapy after a spinal cord injury. Researchers will compare starting the therapy within 60 days, 3 months, or 6 months after injury to see which timing leads to the best walking recovery. The therapy involves walking on a treadmill while wearing a harness that supports some body weight, and it's given in addition to standard care.
