Summary
This study tested a biodegradable device that releases growth factors to help damaged nerves regrow in people with complete spinal cord injury. Ten participants received either the implant plus rehabilitation or rehabilitation alone. The goal was to see if the implant is safe and can improve nerve signals and movement.
