New surgical hope for spinal cord injury patients
NCT ID NCT07280351
Summary
This study is testing if a surgical procedure called expansile duraplasty can help people recover better after a recent, severe spinal cord injury in the neck. Researchers will compare the strength, movement, and independence of 66 participants who receive the procedure during their standard surgery to those who do not. The main goal is to see if this extra surgical step is safe and leads to better long-term recovery.
