Spinal implant sparks hope for paralysis recovery

Summary

This study tests a device that sends mild electrical pulses to the spinal cord to help people with chronic spinal cord injury regain movement and sensation. Ten participants with injuries between T11 and L3 will receive the implant and be followed for 6 months. The goal is to see if the stimulation improves walking, daily function, and quality of life.
