Brain-Spine-Robot Team-Up offers new hope for walking again
NCT ID NCT06881134
Summary
This study tested a new rehabilitation approach for people with spinal cord injuries. It combined two technologies: an implanted device that electrically stimulates the spinal cord and a wearable robotic exoskeleton that helps with walking. The goal was to see if using them together could safely improve leg muscle strength and movement more effectively than standard rehab alone.
