First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how spinal cord injury (SCI) affects a person's sense of their own body, known as embodiment. Researchers will use questionnaires and brain scans (fMRI) to compare 80 people with and without SCI. The goal is to understand why some people with SCI feel disconnected from their body and how this affects daily life.
