Blood holds clues to spinal injury recovery

Summary
This study aims to find out if simple blood tests taken soon after a spinal cord injury can predict how much movement and function a person will recover six months later. Researchers will track 260 adults with new spinal injuries, taking blood samples frequently during the first week and checking their recovery at 6 and 12 months. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to better tools for doctors to forecast patient outcomes and guide treatment plans.
