Spinal implant trial aims to tame dangerous blood pressure swings

NCT ID NCT07147296

Summary

This study is testing a surgically implanted device called the ARC-IM System to see if it can safely help manage unstable blood pressure in people with chronic spinal cord injuries. The device sends electrical stimulation to the spinal cord. For 3 months, 60 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the real stimulation or a version designed to feel similar but not work, to compare results.
