New spinal technique aims to stop dangerous blood pressure drops in C-Section moms

NCT ID NCT07327866

Summary

This study compares two ways of giving spinal anesthesia during planned C-sections to see which one better prevents sudden drops in the mother's blood pressure. Researchers will randomly assign 94 women to receive either the standard single injection or a newer method where the medication is given in smaller doses over time. The goal is to find which technique keeps blood pressure more stable, reduces side effects like nausea, and improves the overall experience for both mother and baby.
