Doctors probe why spinal anesthesia works differently in pregnant women

NCT ID NCT07406373

Summary

This study aims to understand why spinal anesthesia, commonly used for C-sections, can work differently from person to person. Researchers will observe 107 pregnant women having planned C-sections to see if their belly size and internal pressure affect how well the spinal block numbs them. The goal is to gather knowledge to help doctors better predict and manage anesthesia for future patients.
