Doctors test safety of spinal anesthesia for High-Risk heart surgeries
NCT ID NCT06156592
Summary
This study observed how patients with two different severe heart valve conditions responded to spinal anesthesia during their valve replacement surgery. Researchers monitored 44 patients to see if one group needed more blood pressure support medications than the other and used heart ultrasound to track changes in heart function. The goal was to gather real-world evidence to help anesthesiologists safely manage these patients.
