First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study compares two spinal anesthesia medicines, prilocaine and bupivacaine, in 50 Asian patients having total knee replacement surgery. Prilocaine may numb the legs for a shorter time, allowing patients to move sooner and start rehabilitation earlier. The goal is to see if prilocaine helps patients recover faster and feel more satisfied with their treatment.
