Summary

This study aimed to find the better dose of a medication called dexmedetomidine when added to standard spinal anesthesia for planned cesarean sections. It involved 60 women having planned C-sections to see if a 5-microgram or 10-microgram dose provided longer-lasting pain relief and muscle numbness with fewer side effects like low blood pressure.
