New combo could make hip surgery less painful

Summary
This study compares two drugs, dexmedetomidine and magnesium sulphate, added to standard spinal anesthesia for hip surgery. The goal is to see which provides better pain control and faster recovery. 92 adults undergoing elective hip fixation will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two additives.
