New drug aims to boost brain function in fragile x patients

Summary

This study tests a new drug called SPG601 to see if it can improve thinking and learning in adult men with Fragile X syndrome. About 248 men aged 18 to 45 will take either the drug or a placebo (a dummy pill) for several months. The main goal is to measure changes in cognitive abilities using brain tests and EEG scans.
