First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested a drug called spesolimab in 59 people with palmoplantar pustulosis (PPP), a painful skin condition causing pustules and plaques on the palms and soles. Participants received either low or high doses of spesolimab or a placebo for 12 weeks. The goal was to see if the drug could reduce skin symptoms and check for side effects. Results suggest spesolimab may help improve PPP symptoms.
