New ultrasound technique offers hope for men with zero sperm count

NCT ID NCT03291522

Summary

This study is testing a new, less invasive method to find sperm in men who have no sperm in their semen (azoospermia). Doctors use ultrasound to guide a needle into a specific part of the testicle to flush out and collect fluid, hoping to find usable sperm for fertility treatments like IVF. The goal is to see if this method is as effective as current surgical options but with fewer risks and less recovery time.
