Scientists zap brain to unlock speech learning secrets
NCT ID NCT04818268
Summary
This Yale University study aims to understand how our brain's memory systems help us learn new speech patterns. Researchers will use safe, non-invasive magnetic stimulation on healthy right-handed adults to temporarily reduce activity in a specific brain area involved in memory. They'll then measure how this affects participants' ability to adapt their speech when hearing altered feedback through headphones.
