Better scans for foot pain? study tests two methods to pinpoint arthritis
NCT ID NCT05912153
Summary
This study aims to find out which type of scan—SPECT-CT or MRI—is better at correctly diagnosing painful arthritis in the foot and ankle. Researchers will enroll 132 adults with persistent foot pain to compare how well each scan identifies the source of arthritis. The goal is to help doctors choose the most accurate test to guide treatment decisions.
