New shoes could help seniors stay on their feet
NCT ID NCT07366424
Summary
This study is testing whether a new type of shoe called CHUT OTONOM® can help older adults walk more steadily and reduce their risk of falling. Researchers will compare how 94 elderly participants walk while wearing these special shoes versus their usual footwear. The goal is to see if better-designed shoes can be a simple way to prevent dangerous falls in people who have fallen before.
