Scientists create special baby formula to counter C-Section health risks
NCT ID NCT07162025
Summary
This study aims to create a special infant formula designed specifically for babies born by C-section. Researchers will collect beneficial bacteria from breast milk and stool samples of vaginally-born babies to add to the formula, along with healthy fats found naturally in breast milk. The goal is to help C-section babies develop healthier gut bacteria from the start, potentially reducing both short and long-term health problems.
