Researchers test games to boost navigation and Problem-Solving in down syndrome
NCT ID NCT05332912
Summary
This study explored whether specific training could improve spatial thinking skills—like mentally rotating objects or understanding different viewpoints—in people with Down syndrome. Researchers worked with 84 participants, including adolescents and young adults with Down syndrome and typically developing children. They tested if playing spatial games, like puzzles and virtual hide-and-seek, over several weeks could boost these abilities and help close the performance gap between the groups.
