NCT ID NCT05332912

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looked at whether people with Down syndrome can improve their spatial abilities—like mentally rotating objects or seeing another person's viewpoint—through practice with puzzles, blocks, and computer games. 84 adolescents and young adults with Down syndrome, along with typically developing children, took part. The goal was to see if these skills can be trained and if that training could help close the gap with typically developing peers.
