New study: can botox plus therapy beat muscle stiffness?
NCT ID NCT07160699
First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a team of experts working together can better treat muscle stiffness (spasticity) using botulinum toxin (Botox) injections along with non-drug therapies like physical or occupational therapy. About 30 adults with spasticity will receive this combined treatment, and each person's progress will be compared to their own starting point. The goal is to see if this personalized, team-based approach helps people reach their own daily living goals and reduces stiffness.
