NCT ID NCT07160426

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving fresh frozen plasma (FFP) to people with sepsis can protect or repair the protective lining of blood vessels, which is often damaged during sepsis. About 45 adults in the ICU will receive either FFP (as intermittent doses or continuous infusion) or a placebo fluid. Researchers will measure blood markers of vessel damage and track organ function and survival for up to 90 days.
