First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested a Spanish-language app called BMT4me with 30 caregivers of children who had a bone marrow transplant. The goal was to see if the app is easy to use and acceptable for managing care after discharge. Caregivers used the app once and filled out a questionnaire to rate its usability.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

BMT4me app (Spanish version)

What this could lead to

If successful, this could provide a useful tool for Spanish-speaking caregivers to manage their child's post-transplant care at home.

What could go wrong

This is a small, completed usability test with only 30 participants. It does not measure health outcomes, so the app may not improve actual care.
