NCT ID NCT05667701

First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether a soy supplement (isoflavones) can reduce asthma risk in infants who have a genetic tendency for inflammation. 65 babies under 12 months old will receive either soy or a placebo mixed into food for 7 months. Researchers will track wheezing episodes and lung function to see if the supplement helps control the disease.
