Could soy in baby food stop asthma before it starts?

Summary

This study is testing whether a soy-based supplement given to infants can help prevent them from developing asthma. Researchers are enrolling 65 babies under 12 months old who have a specific genetic risk for asthma. Participants will receive either the soy supplement or a placebo mixed into their food or drink twice daily for 7 months, followed by a year of observation.
