Tuning forks tested to soothe chemo pain
NCT ID NCT07187986
Summary
This small, completed pilot study explored whether sound acupuncture could help reduce nerve pain caused by chemotherapy. Forty patients with this type of pain were split into two groups: one received standard medical care, and the other received standard care plus sound acupuncture. The goal was to see if this non-invasive technique, which uses tuning forks on acupuncture points, could ease pain and improve quality of life.
