NCT ID NCT05118854

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving a targeted drug (sotorasib) together with standard chemotherapy before surgery can shrink tumors more effectively in people with a specific genetic mutation (KRAS G12C) in non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer. About 27 adults with stage IIA to IIIB lung cancer that can be surgically removed will receive the combination for 4 cycles, then have surgery. The main goal is to see if the tumor shows a major response in the removed tissue.
